Default Questions about splashguard/ undercarriage of S40

Hi everyone, I'm new here and hoping to get some input. I have a 2007 S40. I got it used and at that point the splashguard (I think that's the correct name--it was the plastic strip screwed across the front) was already loose--notably, there were wires that I think would connect fog lights (?) hanging down. A while back I hit a mound of dirt and the splashguard detached the rest of the way. I put it aside and carried on, but more recently it seems like something else has come open or ripped off under the car. I know nothing about car parts, so I apologize for the rudimentary descriptions...but you can see parts underneath the car you couldn't before. I'm going to attach a link to a few pictures of both sides of the front of the car.
My question is: what exactly has come off? What parts do I need to replace? And is it safe to drive in the meantime?

Thanks!
