I understand that this is a common issue & I'm new to the forum so if this is improper to post then let me know and I would be glad to remove it.

I just bought a used C70 from a non-volvo dealer with a SC-901 radio yesterday & they had recently replaced the battery leading to the common anti theft code.

• There were no cards or manuals in the glovebox
• I pulled the radio out and could find no written codes
• I called volvo and they gave me a code based on VIN (incorrect code)

I'm assuming it's a different radio then the factory installed one. The volvo dealership I called told me to come in but the closest dealership is far enough away I'd have to make a weekend trip.
Is there anyone who takes serial #'s online that has a database for codes?
