Unhappy Remote Starter for 850 HELP

Hi all, winter in Michigan is nearly upon us. My wife suggested I find someplace that will install a remote starter in our car. However everywhere I have checked so far balks at the idea of installing it in my baby. Why? Cause it's a 1997 Volvo 850 GLT. Best Buy stated they didn't have anyone who can install it.
So where do I go from here? Do I go ask a dealership's help?
So before I go to a dealer I figured I'll ask y'all.
So my question is, what brand aftermarket remote starter can I get installed in her?
And how much you think it will cost?
Anyone had to do this before? Mine did not come with a factory remote starter like they have in the newer ones.

Never researched this, and a little surprised. I do know that Volvo electronics have reputation for being pretty complicated. An expert on that can respond better.

hello Volvo4Life97, i just join this forum few minutes ago. i would like to suggest you to check autooneinc. This will be very helpful for you to install a remote starter in your car. The best thing is that they are in Metro Detroit Michigan with 17 locations.

Ya, your going to have to find an aftermarket vendor to do it. The dealership wont touch it. You should have no problem getting this done. Lots of Car Stereo shops do this kind of work.
