Right tail light

Someone hit my tail light, now I have a crack and a small piece missing on the lens. Do I have to change the whole light assembly? if so how difficult is it or not? TIA

Its not all that bad. You access it from in the trunk. When you install the new one if it is new from the Dealer you have to swap the seal from your old one to the new one.

And yes you have to change the entire assembly.

Thank you very much fellow Volvo lovers! I'm glad I found this site. Off to buy a light. At least the guy was honest enough to tell me hit it when parking and will pay for the light assembly and I'll replace it.
