Roadside Toolkit Suggestions

I recently had an issue (see post in V70 Forum) where I had to disconnect the battery. I missed having the toolkit that came in my E39 BMW! Any suggestions for the minimum tools for our pair of V70s ('02 & '09)? I don't need to do an overhaul on the side of the road, but besides an adjustable wench (metric of course LOL), Channel-Lock pliers, assortment of screwdrivers, what sizes of wrenches/sockets would one think to be the minimum?

Something of this nature isn't bad. Keeps you covered in all directions.
BARE MINIMUM: 6MM, 8MM, 10MM, 12MM, 13MM, 15MM, 17MM, 19MM, T20, T25, T30 ratchet + breaker bar.
I kept a 3/8 channel lock socket set in my car + 1/2 impact & impact sockets for the wheels, bottle jack, jack stands, charger cables, and tire pump. Also had an assortment of wrenches. allen keys, pliers, screwdrivers. When you got an older car you gotta be prepared in case something breaks far from home. I also kept fluids as well. I had a cargo box in my trunk for all this when I had an 06 S60.

I've rethought my "emergency kit" over the years. I used to carry a toolboxe and a fairly complete set of socket wrenches and fluids. But I had much larger trunks and didn't care about the weight.
I now carry a "6 in one" screwdriver, 20, 25, 30 Torx drivers, 12 volt air pump, pack of tire plugs and tool, 1 gallon premixed coolant, 1 qt of oil, and pint bottles of PS and brake fluids, and a large, thick bath towel (for between me and the ground and me and the seat when I get soaked, or to soak up spills inside the car)
My goal is to get me off the road and to a safe place. I'm not going to service the PCV system under an overpass or attempt to diagnose and repair a misfire 60 miles outside Las Vegas. If my car dies and I can't fix it inside of 5 minutes, I'm calling AAA. They will tow it for me or replace the battery then and there since I have yet to meet a guy who hauls around a spare battery.
One more thing, remember that all that stuff HAS TO BE SECURED. A tool chest or a gallon of antifreeze can be lethal flying forward in a frontal collision.
As an aside - I went to college with a guy who drove an old full size Dodge. In it he carried K Rations, a lot of water, assorted parts(including some that were sensitive to EM blasts in a lead box) an oscilloscope and smaller electrical test devices., a small chest of assorted transistors, capacitors, and whatnots, soldering gun and God knows what else. And enough tools to do anythong short of a complete teardon of the drivetrain. Only room in the car for his stuff and him.
