Does anyone know if Volvo is planning on ever making an S40 R? Are they planning on ever turning the S40 into a faster, sportier car?

Someone reported in an earlier post that a trick 40 was being developed for campaigning in rallyes in Europe. Maybe Heico?If so that could be a platform for a 40R car. BJ

A friend of mine gave me a magazine on european cars where they had added stuff to make the S 40 more in line with the R. Most of the stuff was Heico, I think. But this was not a Volvo sponsored upgrade.
