S60 clutch question
Ok so my wife has been complaining that her clutch is going in her 2004 s60. I have driven it an dit pretty much drives fine but the clutch is defintely high and revs a bit when shifting gears but wasnt very noticeable to me. She took it to her dealer and they said clutch need s to be replaced and possibly the flywheel ($2800 for job with flywheel). Was told by dealership flywheel cant be resurfaced on these cars. We can get the clutch done for $1200 which is even a bit pricy for what we want to put in (205,000 miles on car) but she loves the car. So my questions are : Does it make any sense to just replace the clutch?(only hoping for another year or two out of the car and get what we get for trade-in then) and Can the flywheel indeed be resurfaced?
Any info would be appreciated
