I’m trying to remove a roof bike rack from the roof bars and can’t find any information on how to slacken the tensioner arms. I’ve turned the key to unlock on them but there is still a lot of resistance to lifting them - can anyone help?

thank you - I tried that but the manual only tells you how to attach it, not remove it

 

I bought some locking roof rack bars for my 240, none Volvo. You unlock the lock and then lift the slide piece up and lift the pins so as to slacking the ratchet type plate. Maybe????
