I have a 2001 s80 and I am having trouble with my directional arm and all things that it operates ie brights, blinker, computer message and so on. I have check all fuses they are ok. where should I check next. Thank you.

This is usually caused by the ECU cross-connect relay which is under the dash above the brake pedal. You'll need to get down in the driver footwell with a flashlight. Look up behind the dash and you'll see a blue box on the firewall about the size of a jewelry box - the kind an engagement ring would come in. The relay trips out and you need to reset it. There's a red button on the side that will be sticking out about a quarter inch. Push that in until you hear a click and you'll be all set.
