Hi Guys!

The morning, I pulled the wrong fuse out of the box (Air controller / SRS airbags) and now, I stuck with the message @SRS Airbags - Service Urgent.

Does anyone of you know how to get rid of this message in the display. I tried to reset it with the tipical rest method: place the key on mode I, then hold theodometer pin for few seconds while switching in mode II until earing the bip...didn't work.

Arrrrhhhhh! Help Please!

 

Could you specify which model you have? I believe it is a relatively newer model, as it has LCD maintenance message function.

Also, try posting this in the vehicle-specific forum to see if other owners can reply.

S80 I'm guessing. Ithink you will have to bring it to a foreign car mech. or the dealer to clear the code.

 

I have ocassionaly had the same message but doesn't come up very often!
You can try disconeecting the battery for 10 mins (this cleared a message when i replaced a coil pack) otherwise it looks like your down to a garage for them to read your code and reset.
If you take it to Volvo they'll want to service the airbags anyway!££££££££ so if you don't want them servicing try your local garage with diagnostics.
