So I have diagnosed my vibration problems ive been having with my '02 v70 t5, which was my passenger side cv joint that needs to be replaced. Well, I got to thinking, I noticed my car came with a jack, but not a wheel wrench to take the wheel bolts off which really isnt the worst of my problems right now, but....this may sound stupid....but....what about a wheel lock socket? Or is the socket itself covering the wheel lock bolt? I kkow in my other car, it came with a seperate wheel lock socket to take the wheel lock off. Like I said.....total newbie volvo question.....

 

Anyone? Just need to know if I need to get a wheel lock socket when I do my cv joint on my v70.

 

If you have wheel locks then yes, you need the correct wheel lock key.
