I’ve got a Mitsubishi colt with a t4 engine transplanted in it , it’s a b4194t2

I was out on a spirited run doing circa 6000 revs and when I shifted up the next gear the engine would no longer rev past 5000 revs in boost or out of boost

so I scanned it and the code that came up was p1544 throttle actuation potentiometer signal to high

so I changed the TPS brought it for a run and still the same I then checked wiring the sensor has an Earth a live and I’ve checked the signal wire has continuity form the tps to the ecu.

im a bit at a loss I haven’t scanned it since
Replacing the tps but I have a code reader in the post . Just wondering if any of you guy have any ideas
