t5 and R?
for example, lets take an s60 model, do the t5 and the R have the same turbo? Same boost pressure? i know that one difference with the R is its manifolds, but what else? thanks for answering.
the new R has the k24 turbo (@ 14psi), and the t5 has the 10psi.....shoot, i cant remember? it is probably a16t?
yes the manis are different, and i believe the downpipe is different, the ECU has different mapping, the R is AWD only. the R has BadASS brakes, 4pot brembos all around as well as 13'' rotors all around. the R has active suspension, and one of the hottest set of rims volvo has came out with.

Above is a link to Volvo's cars and their turbos. Take it not all years and models are listed, but a lot are.
Take a look. Wont tell you boost pressures, but will tell you what turbo is on what years and what models.

that said, you will need:
downpipe
turbo
exhaust manifold
injectors
ic and ic piping
oil/water feed and return lines
drill a hole in the block for oil return
dyno tuning to get good ecu mapping
this is a start.
Waste of time and money. You'll put more into then the car is actually worth. So sell a buy a already turboed model then mod from there.
Now if you can sell and you got cash burning in your pocket...
You will need, and this isn't a complete list.
-Turbo
-Downpipe
-Catback system
-Intercooler
-Intercooler hardpipes
-Intercooler hoses
-Vacuum lines
-Oil or water lines for turbo
-ECU tuning (Major part of the whole thing and to do it right you should dyno tune.)
-Fuel injectors (Bigger ones)
-Etc...
Just an idea, you'll probably spend a good $5k+ to get it done right, and your car is probably only worth $5k as is right now if that. So your putting more money into it then you'll ever get back once you get tired of the car and decide to sell it. So sell it now, but a turbo model and mod it from there on out. Much easier to do.
