Which one does anyone think is the best ?...I've heard different views

 

Depends on what is important to you. The 2.5T is more fuel efficient and longer lasting due to the low pressure turbo, where the T6 is higher performance, but more prone to a shorter life because of the high pressure turbo and less fuel efficient. A simple trade off where neither one is "bad".

2.5T by far, assuming you mean the old twin turbo T6.
