I have recently encountered a problem when towing both my caravan and horse trailer on grass.
When attempting to drive away after being parked, the electronic handbrake will not release.
I have checked all seatbelts on, doors closed etc.
When trying to reverse, I was stuck - engaged 1st gear which released the brake and allowed me to drive off.
When trying to drive forward, I had to engage reverse first, then brake would release.
There were no errors on dash to see but car refused to move.
This has only happened when I'm in a field, when manoeuvring on road surface there has never been a problem.
Any advice ?
