Translation: Hello, I have a problem, my liquid in the expansion tank is running low, I checked all hoses and hoses, nothing can be seen, everything is dry. Has anyone had a similar problem and what could it be. Please help.
What is the year/model/engine of your car? You do have a leak so a system pressure test may be required to find it. Areas to check again 1) inspect the expansion tank and its cap for any cracks. cleaning around the tank may help you find some evidence. 2) inspect the hoses running to/from the expansion tank. On some cars like the S40s, look at the connection between the upper radiator hose and the expansion tank hose. 3) inspect the radiator - look for any residue on the sides of the radiator, remove the lower valance to inspect the lower radiator hose. 4) Any smells in the cabin when the car first starts up? any dampness around the front foot wells to suggest a heater core /heater core hose leak? Note this may be a sweet kind of odor right when the heat starts to come on 5) any white/gray exhaust? doe the exhaust have a sweet smell to suggest coolant is getting into the combustion chamber? How does the oil and transmission fluid look? any signs of coolant mixing in?
