I would suspect contaminated fuel - (I trust you have a diesel engine in your car, I once filled my m5 with water contaminated gasoline - car drove a mile or so before it stopped)
Unfortunately that usually requires draining the tank and since there is no drain - requires tank removal to empty the contents. And clean the contaminated fuel from the rest of the fuel system.

Just wondering here - had the OP not mentioned just refueling, what would be the responses? Likely someone would say to check the fuel at the engine . Easier than dropping the tank. While I agree that bad fuel is most likely the culprit, I think that simpler and easier diagnostics would be in order first.

I was just suggesting a possible logical cause - I usually leave the diagnostic process up to the OP unless they ask - for many times the OP is just looking for possibilities/knowledge before their car is taken to a shop. If they ask, I'll give suggestions to the best of my knowledge.
I thought it would be helpful to be prewarned of the complexity of tank removal - when the repair estimate comes back for many many dollars/pounds/euros. Certainly not suggesting that would be the first step.
