Vida dice 2013a
Finally got it installed. After messing around with it for about a month (doing all the tips/tricks found thru Google searches) it turns out the CD was defective. Chinese customer service is worthless. You get what you pay for. Had to order one off eBay. Installed in about 35 minutes. Just got done turning off the DRL, clearing the messages for SRS Urgent Service & Engine Urgent Service. Reset counters. Was glad to see no codes stored in TCM!
The only thing I couldn't find was shutting off the central locking system It's annoying to hear that buzzing sound whenever I open the hood, trunk, rear door, etc. Unfortunately, not much documentation is to be found on how to use VIDA to its fullest. I'd hate to "accidentally" erase the ECM.
Also I noticed if you're gonna sit there with your computer and key on and play with VIDA, I'd recommend hooking up a battery charger. After about 40 mins, I got a "Battery Low Voltage" message.

By disabling I mean that I don't need to lock/unlock all 4 doors all the time. If I turn the key to unlock just the driver door, then go somewhere, get out then push down on the door lock, it just pushes back up. Same with the passenger door. By using the key or remote, I'm locking and setting the alarm. Don't need to set the alarm all the time and don't want the extra wear and tear on the lock actuators. When I open my trunk, I don't need the drivers door to unlock itself.

Ugh... I'll just live with it. I know I could pull the fuse but then I lose the power windows and mirrors. Not worth it. I know another S80 came into pull-a-part so I'll grab a lock actuator as a spare. From what I've read, that buzzing noise means it's not gonna last much longer. Thanks for your help on this. I'm not familiar with what all VIDA can/can't do, but so far I like it.
