Hi. I bought a vida dice unit from none other than China somewhere.
It took 3 weeks to get and when it arrived the install disc was blank. I have emailed them and receive no response.

Now I am looking for just the disc but am not sure what it is called. The vida 2014 discs I look at mention parts, numbers, diagrams etc. Nothing about the ability to program modules.
I need to put my trans into learn mode after I replace some parts

 

I had the same issue. Mine came with a corrupted CD and no response from them at all. I ended up getting a disc off eBay. Think it was $35. Installed with no problems.

 

Thanks, I bought another unit local S Cal. The first place is continually wanting to send the cd info online to my email. Its becoming rather boring.
The second device I bought is all in Chinese. I did buy a disc and installed the first device because to send it back was 70 dollars.
Now I have 2 dice units. I will copy the cd I got to work and sell the extra dice unit.

You don't need the Chinese DVD. There are copies of VIDA on the web. Look for VMware VIDA image.

 

Thanks for the replies. I bought the cd on ebay with vida and wiring. Got hooked up and tried it for the first time yesterday. All worked well.
I'm sure I will have a question or two for experienced users.
