Default Volvo Excess Wear. Is it necessary?

Like my Bimmer, but the S90..... That's something else! Love the car, So decided to switch to Volvo. The dealership said that it's better to purchase the Excess wear protection. I took it for the Bimmer, but not sure for Volvo. I'm afraid for the curb rash on the wheels. Is it better to get one, of does Volvo really don't care when you bring back the car? A friend of mine had an Acura, and Acura didn't really care about the rash.

you are essentially buying insurance. So, what's the likelyhood of you getting dents/dings/damaged rims etc? Do you drive into the city daily? Do you do a lot of on street parking etc? Is your plan to return the car after the lease expires or will you be considering purchasing it outright or renewing a 2nd lease?
