Default Volvo Factory Battery

I have a 2004 S80 T6 with 54,000 miles. I think the battery in this car is the factory battery. Should I have Volvo put in a new one or wait until told to do so at one of my scheduled maintenance visits? The engine cranks okay but a little weak sounding.

Have the battery checked at someplace like Autozone. They can tell you if it is good or bad. I would just replace with a battery from them if yours is weak.

Interstate makes the U.S. replacement battery. Nice-to-know information

Is any one battery better than another? I usually just get one from anywhere like Wal-Mart or where ever. I usually just pay attention to the months on the advertisement. Like a 60 or 72 month battery.
