What model of transmission is installed on Volvo s80, 2001 T-6 cars?

Vadis lists the tranny model as: 4T65EV-GT. No personal experience, but I recall some posts referring to this unit as being made by GM, and not being able to handle all the torgue that the T6 puts out.
