Which Volvo model was the nearest to Xc70 in 2001 ? If we compare the parts that fit on both models, comfort and road handling?
I'm planning to have my car a long time (even if i find it hard these days with all the problems) and i would like to buy a donnor car one day to assure it's longevity!

 

The v70 is the non awd version of the xc70, so that would be the best match.
the s60 would also have alot of the same parts.

i tought i already saw or heard of a V70 awd without beeing an XC.

 

There is. You can have a V70 AWD or an XC70. The XC70 has a slightly different stance, with styling cues from the XC90 on the bumpers and fenders. I believe they also come standard with roof rails. All XC70's are AWD.

Inside they have the same room. It's almost the same car. V70 XC more expensive because built like a luxury SUV. Search in photo gallery or on the net for pix.
