2005 2.5t AWD 165,000 automatic
From stop its rough getting up to third gear. At one point I didn't feel it catch until 3 thousand rpm and it jerked like hell.
So I did search this question and found that I should try a transmission flush, maybe trans x, or spark plugs.
This question is unique because I just bought the car two weeks ago, and I'm considering getting a powertrain warranty for 3 mths 4,000 miles @ $325.
I have to do this next week and wanted to get input before I buy the warranty.
1 This is my first turbo car, so could this be turbo lag or something? I doubt it, but maybe I'm just an idiot.
2 At what point will the insurance company replace the transmission? I know I'll have to read the document but does anybody have input or experience with warranties?
3 I also read that a transmission flush may be harmful if its already running bad. The car was maintained by volvo but maybe they never did a flush?
What should be my first step? Warranty, flush, plugs or something else?
