Which Volvo Should I buy?
To everyone, I am sorry about the typo above, I meant to say: "Which MODEL is the most reliable Volvo?"
I am interested in buying a used Volvo preferably one with air bags; I can assume that would be a Volvo that was made after 1987. What mileage should I be looking at and what price ranges? My goal is to buy a used Volvo that cost between $2000 and $5000. What mechanical issues should I be concerned with? How many total miles can I get out of a Volvo? What model Volvo gets the best MPG? Which Volvo(s) is(are) the most reliable? What year Volvo is the most reliable? What Volvo is the best (your opinion)?
Most every model of car has it's quirks and gremlins, I would like to buy a Volvo that has the least of these issues. Any advice would be great.
If you don't want to answer all these questions then at least do the "Poll". The Poll is simple, just pick the car you think is the most reliable.

Wow! That's a lot of questions. Scrape up another $3,000 and I'll sell you my wagon.
Most Volvo's will last 500,000 when properly maintained. Key word..... How will you know if a car has been properly maintained??? Service records is a start.
You can get answers to many of your other questions at www.Cars.com and www.FuelEconomy.gov. Not sure which car you should purchase but I did vote on the cars that I would purchase.
Volvo started installing airbags in their cars in 1987. They were the first to install side airbags in 1995. Side airbags were installed in all of their cars since 1998.
