Hi People,

I am new to this forum so apologies if this is not the correct feed.

I am in need, for some serious advise. My plans are to purchase the below vehicle. I would like to know who created this engine? As even the main dealers are not providing consistent information. Some say its made by Peugeot being a 4 cylinder, others say its made by Volvo as all new shapes are.

Also it has a slight tapping/ticking noise from the engine. The best way to describe it is, sounds like the tappets on Vauxhall Corsa but much minimal sound (obviously). The seller advised that being a Peugeot engine, they sound like this as its the injectors. Is this normal? Being a Jap fanatic with very minimal knowledge on Volvo's is not helping either

Overall, are these engines any good?
