What is this spot that's appeared on my car's radio screen?

It was not there the last time I'd driven my car and nothing has hit the screen in any way for it to be a consequence of a physical impact. This just appeared out of nowhere.

Why do you think that? It works without a change, I failed to point that out. It's just a visual thing and I'm wondering what it is, not wondering if I should just throw money at it, especially not 230£ for something as minor as this.
