I got behind a white Volvo V70 SE this morning. The letters SE were on the right side in the rear and were not raised letters, more like stencils. I have a 98 V70 GLT, but I don't think I ever saw the SE before. It was definitely in the 98-00 range because of the body style.

 

i always thought they meant sport edition, but ive never seen them on a car before. ive heard people talk about it but never seen it.

 

It did have kind of a sportier look to it. I noticed it had the roof rack. I have one on mine too, but I bought it and put it on myself.

 

My wife has an SE. It is a 2.4 non turbo with every option. Year is 2000. Other than that i can tell you nothing.
