What's a 1965 Ruddspeed 122S worth?
Rudd was a performance shop back in the day. Its like Roush and Shelby. From what I've read, they are collectible, just not extremely valuable - if that makes sense. A similar one that went up for auction in 2004 was expected to sell between 9,000 and 11,000 pounds. I don't know what that is in Dollars. That one was in restored condition. Here'sa link to the auction company:

I like the looks of that, but would be afraid that it would not worth near as much as it would cost to restore one. I once had a chance to get an 1800 that needed restoration and chose not to because of the lack of demand. If I'm going to restore something it's going to be something that will worth something when I'm done. Probably an American Muscle car like a 68-71 Chevelle, preferably 69 or 70. Sure wish I would have kept mine.
Assuming the car is in the USA....
Value of vintage race cars is based largely on thier history. If you have or can obtain the car's log book that really helps the value and desirabilty of the car. Unless the rules have changed, use to be you needed the car's logbook to enter vintage races. Also any pictures or other media pretaining to the car history is good to have.
Did this car come from North Carolina? there was a guy from the Greensboro area racing a Ruddspeed prepared 122 back in the 70's. I saw him a couple times racing in IMSA at VIR and SCCA F production at CMS. You might try searching around web for vintage racing forums and posting pictures there. some of the older racers might recognize the car.
BTW Ruddspeed prepared a lot of Volvos during the time they were in existance. Most of the cars were in rally some were in roadracing. The cars you find in the USA are almost all roadracing, Rudd also prepared PV544s
