Default Where can I get a key copy made?

I can't seem to find this anywhere on this site or the general net. I've been told the only place to get a copy of the key is the dealership...is this true?

Standard key for a '95 850--any idea of cost?

Thanks!

NOt sure on the 850, but the newer cars have the keys programed at the dealer.

Any place like homedepot, doitcenter, lowes etc.... can cut keys.

Thanks-I took this key to Sears Key Center and they weren't able to cut it, so I didn't bother trying a hardware store. Was hoping to get a solid lead before schlepping all over town or giving up and going to the dealer (sigh.)

Nothing fancy--no transponder--just a standard key for a 95 850 Wagon.

We have a few local key cutting lock smith shops.

I think they cut a few 240 keys for $1 per key. I dont remember.
