Do they look like they are wire wheels?

i wish!!! they're the standard looking 5 spoke one's you see on the cabrio. are tyres for such a wheel pricey? are they more prone to wear and punctures say, if i drove on an unsealed road?

Well, depends on what you consider pricey... I just got 17's on my 850 and I am running Yokohamas avus 215/45/17's and I belive the set is about 600-650 US dollars.I was fortunate that I didn't have to pay for my set. As far as wear on a tire, I would check the rating you are buying, type of compound used (softer or harder). Also are you accustomed to rotating tires or checking air pressure.I would def. be careful on dirt roads(unfinished)and you could go over something and possibly puncture or bend a wheel....

On my Yellow one I had bought a set of Kuhmo's for about $350.00 and they wore pretty good over time.
