Default Zimmerman rotors

What do you guys think of Zimmerman cross drilled rotors? I think I may need to replace the fronts coming up and was thinking about these. Any other brands you would recommend?

Thanks,
Chet

A lot of people who tune their cars use Zimmerman rotors. It's what FCP sells so I assume they must be good. It's what I'm going to use on my wagon.

If your doing rotors get the performance kit from FCP, comes with rotors, pads, and steel brake lines. There's a wide range variety of pads, I have just basic pads from autozone on my car, nothing special.

I recall recently Tech posting something he did not like or had been seeing recently on the Zimmerman rotors. Perhaps I am mistaken, but he will probably chime in to clarify.

I've tried Brembo, and next time when I have to do them, I would like to try Zimmermann or ATE; both should be German.

I'd also use the Akebono pads. Some of the guys on Volvolution have said they're top quality.
