im new to the forum biut i have allways been looking on volvo forums since i got my car . i own a 02 volvo s60 2.4t and i really need help on purchasing a muffler, im only purchasing a muffler for sound. i narrowed my choices to either a magnaflow or a super 40 flowmaster. does anyone have experience with these mufflers on their cars ? if so any comments or opinions. i personally am leaning toward the magnaflow because of its sound but my mechanic tells me flowmaster because they are more reliable and last longer. basically i want your opinions on getting either of these mufflers aswell as would you recomend me removing the resonator or anyother mods to the exhaust? im only 17 so my budget is limited ut i would like a nice sounding exhaust. any plans on custom exhausts or ideas welcome. thanks -joe

 

i would go with magnaflow they actually make mufflers for "tuner" cars.
