Default '01 s60 T5 exhaust on '02 s60 base (n/a)

will the factory '01 s60 T5 exhaust fit an '02 s60 base? obviously, theres no need for the turbo down pipe, but will everything else fit well? or am i wasting my time considering installing this system? not trying to see any gains or anything, just perhaps a bit better sound and cleaner appearance. any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

base = non turbo? If you have a non turbo it will not fit.But the sound from T5 to yours theres no real difference. The sound you hear is the Turbo spooling not the exhaust really.

the t5 exhaust that someone offered me includes the exhaust from the cat to the muffler tip, so just the catback. becuase the t5 is a higher level model s60 than mine, i figured it might have a larger diameter exhaust. in the pictures i've seen, it looks identical to mine, although i havent gotten exact measurements yet. My exhaust has seen many more miles than the t5 catback. the t5 catback is free if i pick it up, but its a bit of a drive. is it worth it? even to have as a replacement exhaust? the muffler tip on the t5 certainly looks more aesthetically pleasing...
