Exhaust Question...

If i am not mistaken OBX's turbo back has a catless downpipe. That is technically illegal, well in state of texas i know it is, but they use a spacer for the o2 sensor so that it will not throw a code and you can pass inspections. Turbobacks offer the best noise and power.
Catback is generally less expensive and easier to install. They still can increase power and generally change the tone of the exhaust.

Very jealous.
there are two o2 sensors on the dp, i think (atleast for my car)
And generally how they work is that there is one before the cat, and one after, and unless there is i believe, 20% change or higher, it won't through a code. But if you take that cat out then there isn't a change, so what the spacer does is remove the tip of the o2 sensor from the direct exhaust flow, allowing for it to read a 20% change, i.e. not alerting your ecu that the car is failing emissions.

Here is a good video.
Volvo S70 T5M Exhaust Comparison (Stock, Open DP, OBX ) - YouTube
Personally i like custom exhausts, but i do like mine louder.
