I looked at the car while on a trip to Long Island to visit in-laws. The underside was solid, body panels looked straight and very solid, underneath there's surface rust on the body mount washers and such but nothing surprising and nothing on the body pan. Interior looked well kept, no musty smell, no torn seams. Some minor separation of door card upholstery, no surprise given the age. The dampers and such seemed OK given the mileage but w/o driving can't say for sure. I think it needs tires, too. The motor sounded fine, no cold ticking, no condensate/foam/goop under oil cap, no surprises on static shift thru the gears. I didn't buy it because I could not figure out how to get it home (about 300 miles) on short notice. If you have ideas how I could do that, send me a PM.
