So far there's two of us from the midwest that has come forward. Who else is in the midwest? I don't know about anyone else, but I would like to attend one of the Volvo car shows sometime, and what better way to show up than with a troop of Volvo's representing the midwest?

 

I'm from St. Louis. Find it kind of boring here. Hadn't seen much Volvo fans out where I live.

 

It's not too bad in Milwaukee either. See a lot of volvos, just don't know if it's volvo fans or people who just drive them, if you know what I mean. I wish there were more enthusiasts in the mid-west.

 

I'm here in Southeastern MN. I don't see too many Volvo-fan types around here either. When's the next Volvo meet/show?

 

I don't know. There's no one saying we can't have our own though, and I don't see why we shouldn't. Who would be up for that?

 

I'm near the Ohio Pa boarder so it would be a bit of a haul... but I do have a bit of vacation time and I saved $$$ by not going to Bonnaroo this year so PM me if y'alls do anything.... I still need to take a road trip in my new comfy leather 850 bus. Who knows I might show up. Gilber33 seems pretty hell bent on having a mid-west Volvo meet up so, I'm always up to help someone realize their dream.

 

HAHA. I am. I found a midwest thread on another forum and there are a few people in the area. I think we should all decide when we want to do it and where and go from there.

 

hahaha I just saw your post on TBricks... (I'm svenski there) there seems to be a lot of y'alls in Minnesota. Its annoying, I see TONS of 850's let alone other flavours of Volvo's in my area, yet there are few Ohio residents on TBricks or here... then I realize that most of them spend their time on soccer fields not on enthusiast forums.... we need some sort or recruting or something lol.

 

Oh really. haha, yeah, I keep finding more and more people in the area, I found a couple guys who actually live in the same like area as me, city wise. I think we should do like a BBQ or something, do in like northern IL so it's central for midwest. I want to find some people who for sure would be on board, and then create an event for it and post it.

I live in the St Louis area and am interested in getting together. Seems like all the get togethers are near Chicago, that 5 hour drive for me.

 

there's one in Rockford, IL on Aug 15th. There was one other person from st. louis that was planning on coming.
