Default 2002 s60

I am interested in a vehicle listed for sale in my local town. the seller says it needs 'a couple of modules" should I be wary ? A bit vague I know he says it starts but cuts out
Any tips apprecited

Run away as fast as you can. If the car simply needs "a couple of modules" have the current owner replace them and then pay a reasonable sum for the vehicle. " A couple of modules" could easily cost $1800 US each.

I did a bit of checking and like you suggested I ran !!!! Very involved and could be a bottom less pit
