2002 V70 T5 Wagon New Fuel Pump

After checking all relays determined that the fuel pump was bad. Disconnected the battery first, removed the rear seats, and then replaced the pump. Decided to reconnect the battery and test the pump before I put the rear seats in which I then had fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Before all above was done the engine used to turn over using starting either. Now have the fuel pressure but even using the starting either engine wont turn over. Question is with the rear seats not installed and the rear airbags disconnected is there some sort of safety over ride that prevents ignition spark?

Just don't understand why the engine would run with starting either before installing new fuel pump and now with new pump and fuel pressure at the fuel rail and using starting either will not run!
