2004 S60 2.5T Purchase
New to this forum but not Volvo's, this is my third 1981 240 Sedan, 1986 240 Wagon and now th 2004 S60 2.5T. Glad to be back. Bought the S60 for my wife. Better safety features and a solid built car. Love the leather seats and geek items. Has Sirrus radio built in but doubt I will subscribe. Car had 34,000 miles on it and comes with the 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty or unitl 2012. Looking forward to putting a lot of miles on it. Starting out with 87 Octane and if it works will stay with it. It has used 91 octane until now.

RE: 2004 S60 2.5T Purchase
Delayed welcome.
I believe 87 octane would be fine, but if the ECU says no, I would switch back to 91 or higher.
Make sure to have the recalls taken care of:

And follow scheduled maintenance, especially the timing belt & its mechanism (every 70,000 miles or 5 years).
