2007 v50 anti-skid wipers and blinkers
Hello aficionados,
My 2007 V50, had the anit-skid service pop up, then less than 10 minutes into the drive the windshield wipers began to go off and so did the blinkers. They did not stop going until I shut off the vehicle and turned it on where 5-10 minutes later it all went off again. I recently (2 weeks ago) had the CEM cleaned and all was back to driving well. Any ideas what it could be.
I appreciate any advice you can provide.

Your symptoms are certainly those of a problem with the CEM - perhaps you need the CEM fixed instead of just "cleaned". A company such as xemodex could solve that if needed.

Hello and thank you for responding.
The mechanic I used stated as they were looking for the issue, they found that there were some loose connections with the CEM, and they went one by one and cleaned the cem connections as well as checked all the grounds, on it. They went on to state that once everything was cleaned and ensured that there was no rust or debris, and that the grounds were connected as well. They stated that usually water gets in and may cause some issues such as the one we experienced. Furthermore, they stated that there was no water damaged and after all their work it was ready to drive. Since then I have driven it and it runs like a dream all good, but now two weeks later, the same occurrences popped up again.
IPD suggested that I contact the Xemodex if I need to have it worked on. I think that is what I will have to do now.
