Out of the blue my trunk won’t close. It’s like the trunk lid grew and inch and now it’s “hitting” about an inch away from the “loop” it’s supposed to grab onto. Nothing happened— no accidents. I took off the plastic coverings, and everything looks fine.

 

Should be slots on the trunk hinges to be able to move the trunk lid forward - why it happened?. Can't say
