Hello,

Relatively new to this site, but I'm at the end of the road with my fiancees 2008 S60. We have exhausted way too much money in to this issue for over a year. The A/C is extremely intermittent if at all, and when the settings are set for the A/C to be on and it's not working the air is warm to hot, and has an odor to it. We have taken it to get evac'd and recharged, it fixed it for about a week then the A/C went out again, took it back to the shop, they said it was a bad compressor, so we had the compressor replaced, fixed it for about 30 minutes, took it back to the shop, the said that a blend door was stuck so they got it unstuck and cleaned other parts of the A/C system (I assume ducts in the dash and the CCM?), we've also replaced the A/C clutch relay. I know for a fact that the compressor works, because very very intermittently we will have ice cold A/C, mostly while driving not idle. With the relay cover removed and forcing it to engage the compressor will run no problem. I just have lost all my energy and time trying to fix this A/C, and with temperatures steady in the 90's now I'd really like to get this taken care of. Please! Any help is greatly appreciated!
