To me it sounds like a fair deal. But, before you buy it take it to a reputable Volvo or Euro shop and have them do a pre-purchase inspection. They'll go over the car bumper to bumper. Don't rely on the word of a mechanic. Lord knows we mechanics can be shady.
Also by going to a shop for a pre-purchase inspection, it can be a great way to build a relationship.
When a customer shows up to my shop and says something like this, I know that they're serious about their car and I'm happy to do business with them.
