Default New to the Volvo World

What's up everyone. I'm JD and I'm new to the Volvo world of cars and super excited to say the least. Just purchased a 2018 S90L with 30k miles and I absolutely love everything about it so far. Can't wait to learn more about this vehicle as the days pass by as well as learning from and relying on the support from everyone on this forum.

I can't say I've ever worked on a S90L, so I won't be much help with your car's issues. However, you only have 30k on the car so you shouldn't run into any problems for a while. Are you still under warranty?

Welcome to The forum I'm pretty new too.

Any used car purchase is only as good as how the car was treated by the prior owner. Provided your S90 was properly maintained and not abused, IMO you've bought a great car. As with most modern era cars, problems tend to be centered around the infotainment system and electronics. Volvos can require more frequent brake jobs. As a 2018, it's likely that the primary and stop/start batteries will require replacement soon. The stop/start battery typically lasts 3-to-4 years, while the primary battery is around 4-to-5 years.
