Greetings from the new guy in Vermont......Can someone please direct me to an online manuel for the 88 240D? I need to see a diagram of the bracket holding the fuel pump and filter beneath the drivers seat. Have searched high and low with no results.

As I'm an 850 driver, I'm not really sure as to the fuel filter bracket. Are you trying to replace the fuel filter? If so, you might want to purchase a service manual (Chilton, Haynes, etc...).

I would also recommend Mr. Jim Sherman at Jim's Imported Car Clinic in Rutland for future servicing of your Volvo. Jim is a fully ASE-certified Master Technician and has been working on Volvos, Saabs & Japanese makes for years and is the best automotive technician I know, as well as "Moderator Tech" on this forum.
