Hi all.
I'm happy to be joining the forum as a first-time Volvo owner. (2011 XC90 3.2 R Design)
As of this posting, I've been employed in the service division of another major automotive corporation for over 33 years. Throughout my career, I've amassed a considerable knowledge of automotive service and repair but have never put a wrench to a Volvo yet.
I generally perform all of my own maintenance and repairs except those for which I don't have the required tools in my garage. (i.e. wheel alignments and wheel balancing) I'm looking forward to the Volvo ownership experience and to learning the technical side of the brand.
