Hi. Newbie here. Just bought a c30 (2010 r design) and I love it however I’m at a loss to what this is that is hanging from my headliner. Can anyone help?

 

Looks like a mount for something that was left in the car. I imagine it is just an adhesive back. Probably for a tablet or something for the people (or children) sitting in the back.

Not there from the factory from what I can tell via diagrams.

 

Thanks for the reply. The clip is fixed to the back plate through a hole. Didn’t want to pull on it in case the bonding on the plate to the headliner separated
