Hi, I just drove my first ever Volvo home. I decided joining this community would be a great idea, as it is a project car, so I'll be looking for suggestions and advice along the way. I purchased a 1982 244 GLT and love it already. Yes it has a bit of rust, the electronic overdrive did not work, the fuel system is in need of love, and the sunroof does not close properly, but i loved every minute so far. I look to meeting you all!

Welcome! It looks sweet. I have a 91 240 that I've been working on. So, I'll try to keep an eye open for questions. I've also done a good bit with a 740. Welcome again!
