Hey everyone! New to the forum. I have a 06 Volvo XC90 2.5T. This is my first Volvo and I've only had it 5 months. Within a month of buying it, it would die within a few seconds of starting. I tore it apart, cleaned out pcv box and hoses, it ran beautifully! A month later, radiator blew. I replaced it, everything was good. Now, a few weeks ago, my catalytic converter was cut off while I was working! This car is the first car I've ever worked on myself, it's become my baby! But, until I can afford shop prices, I need a temp fix! Any help would be much appreciated!!

 

Wow - have seen that many times at my shop - new converter and O2 sensors will be pricey,

Time to call your insurance company (hopefully you have full coverage)
